With 2,300 square metres of production and office space at its disposal, EPflex develops and produces high quality metal components.  Special focus is set on processing wires, braids and tubes made of stainless steel, nitinol and special metals to manufacture flexible single-use products for the medical technology industry.

EPflex is manufacturing its products within an 1,000 square metres ISO-Class 8 certified assembly area. The determination of the purity level was performed in accordance to EN-ISO 14644-3:2005.

Within an air-conditioned assembly area of around 1,000 square metres we produce sensitive components for the medical technology industry under controlled environmental conditions. Bright and ergonomic workstations enable fatigue-proof, concentrated work and therefore ensure consistent high quality.

Our modern manufacturing equipment is characterized by a high level of automation which allows us to produce economically the quantities required by our clients.
Furthermore, with our team members being well-trained and motivated, we are able to react quickly to our customers’ requests.

All relevant workstations are equipped with video control systems in order to ensure 100 % supervision of the assembly and welding processes.

At our modern laser workstations we produce smallest welds with the highest precision. Non-flicker flat screens with high resolution enable concentrated and effective work for consistently good results.

We achieve glued joints of consistent quality by using gluing machines especially developed for our products.

The development, optimization and assembly of our manufacturing equipment are performed by our in-house tool making experts working closely with our production teams.

A modern planning and control system facilitates the planning and control of the individual production steps and supports the delivery of our products on the agreed date.

Our quality assurance is supported by the latest high-resolution microscopy systems and therefore enables comprehensive documentation.

Modern storage systems facilitate rapid access to our raw and operating materials. Optimally matched storage and transport systems protect our products during production and in the storage spaces.

By continuous checks and controls during our production processes with modern test equipment we secure the high quality standard of our technically sophisticated products.
